Privacy Policy
Effective August 6, 2026
This policy explains how Carson Dickey, an Idaho sole proprietor doing business as NextWave Strategies by Carson Dickey (“NextWave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information through this website. The site is intended for U.S. business decision-makers.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, work email, company name and description, company website, business goal, and anything else you include in a strategy-call request or later correspondence.
- Submission and security information: page path, referral source, campaign parameters, submission time, a one-way hash derived from your IP address, duplicate-prevention identifiers, security-check results, and delivery status for our internal notification.
- Website-use information: if privacy-oriented analytics are enabled, page views and limited interaction events such as CTA clicks and successful form submissions. These events are not intentionally sent with form answers.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, payment-card details, passwords, government identifiers, health information, or confidential client data through the inquiry form.
Sources and purposes
We receive information from you, your browser or device, referral links, and the service providers described below. We use it to evaluate and respond to inquiries; provide a scheduling option you request; prevent duplicate submissions, spam, fraud, and security incidents; maintain and improve the site; understand broad website use; enforce our terms; and comply with law. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorize unrelated promotional email.
How we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to service providers that help operate the site, including Cloudflare for hosting, database storage, and bot protection; Resend for an internal owner notification if configured; Plausible for limited analytics if configured; and a scheduling provider when you choose its link. Those providers process information under their own contracts and privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party behavioral advertising on this site.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not intentionally use advertising cookies. Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may use limited cookies, local storage, or similar technologies when necessary for security, bot detection, load balancing, or service delivery. The site uses session storage after a form submission to carry a non-sensitive confirmation state to the thank-you page and then removes it. If analytics are enabled, they are configured for limited, aggregate measurement rather than cross-site advertising.
Retention
Strategy-call records are scheduled for deletion 24 months after the most recent submission. Automated maintenance applies that schedule when the lead system is active. We may keep particular records longer when reasonably necessary for a legal obligation, dispute, fraud prevention, or security investigation. Provider backups and diagnostic records may persist for their configured recovery or security periods. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with your inquiry, or withdraw from further contact, by emailing nextwavestrats@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may request information needed to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right.
Because the site does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party behavioral ads, it does not currently provide a separate sale/share opt-out mechanism. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not have a universal legal standard, so the site does not respond differently to them. Where legally required, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, consistently with our no-sale/no-sharing practices.
Security and U.S. processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect inquiry information, including encrypted connections, access controls, request validation, abuse controls, and limited operational alerts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Information is processed in the United States and may be handled from locations where our providers operate.
Children
This business-to-business site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us for deletion.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice when required.
